As COVID-19 continues to spread its havoc with a spike in cases all over the world, the Government of India is adopting every precautionary measure to ensure that every citizen of India is well prepared to fight back with this pandemic. A Lockdown in every state is announced where citizens are requested to lock themselves in their homes to avoid any physical contact. Ministry of Health and Family Affairs along with the World Health Organization empowered the citizens by providing them the right information and appealed to take every precaution as per their advisory and guidelines issued to combat with COVID-19.

Where #IndiaFightsCorona or #CoronaWarriors are gaining popularity on social media platforms; people trying to save themselves from this pandemic chose severe quarantine and left with no option to survive. When it comes to maintaining mental health and psychological consideration during the lockdown period, music is the best therapy to create a balance between the same. The musical fans can visit the YouTube channel of the Dhwani live music band where Sarita, Srriram and Navin through their heartfelt voice deliver songs that touch the strings of our hearts. In the first episode of Musical Lockdown Weekends, the team presented a Bollywood medley comprising three songs on their list. The episode started with the song “Lag Ja Gale” from the movie “Wo Kaun Thi”, followed by the sweet voice of Sarita who sang the melody “Bade Aache Lagte Hai” and later the episode ended with the song “Kehna Hai Aaj Tumse Pehi Baar” that gifted a smile to everyone who is facing this stressful situation of Lockdown.

Musical Weekends: An Initiative to Infuse Positivity The entertainment industry is severely affected by Lockdown. Dhwani feels that music is an all-time healer even in the toughest phase of life. The live music band started the series of musical weekends on their YouTube channel and received a good response. The Musical Weekends series also paid a tribute to the veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Irfan Khan on their sad demise.
