EX.CO Video is a creation tool that enables you to create custom, moving videos that contain images, GIFs, videos and text. Creating is easy and videos can be published on their own, or as part of longer narratives.

Video is the often the best way to communicate any message or story to your readers. While most people won't read a long form text article, they will watch a short video with captivating visuals and interesting, succinct text telling them what they need to know in under a minute. With EX.CO Video, you can tell your story with a short and engaging video that your readers will actually want to watch and enjoy.

To get started, simply select the video icon under the “Let's get started!” section, and the EX.CO Video creation screen will appear on the page.

With Batch Upload you can:

• Upload a video in any dimension and the player will resize accordingly.
• Preview the video from the current scene you are working on.
• Drag & drop files to the creator without choosing a specific element. 

Making the creation of your item faster, and easier, than ever. 

Before actually populating your video with content, you have the option of customizing the color, font and music of the video as you see fit!

Click on "Custom preset" and save the colors, style and music that you choose in order to use the same settings in your next item.

You can also choose to define the ratio by design for either desktop or laptop, or there is an option of choosing the aspect ratio of your video design:

• 16:9 ratio
• 3:4 ratio
• 1:1 ratio

Giving you the option to customize your video for your specific needs.

You also have different templates to choose from: Smart, Classic, Swift, Facts and Vs. (Go to Settings icon in the top right of the element, and then click on "change template")

• Smart will match the layout and design of your video to the type of content you're using. It also offers you a wider selection of layouts and appearance options, perfect for all types of content.
• Classic will weave your images, GIFs and text seamlessly together as a familiar, moving slideshow.
• Swift is a fast-paced list which works well when covering several related subjects
• Facts is a great template for exactly that - facts! The slides will be automatically numbered creating suspense and drama..
• Vs. is the perfect template when comparing two competing topics like cats and dogs or iPhone and Android.

If you mark your item as "sponsored" (in the top left section in "visibility") You will also have access to 6 Second Ads Templates, including:

• The Box
• Video Teaser + Media
• Text Teaser + Media

Within this section, you can also upload your own logo that will be shown at the end of the video.

Once you have customized the video settings, just start adding content to your slides!

Be sure to take advantage of Getty Images to help you find the perfect photos for your video.

In addition to images, you can also use the Getty Videos and Giphy searches to find GIFs and video clips to include within your EX.CO Video. This gives you the option to add some movement and excitement to your creation! You can also add emotion into your video with the Emoji search .

Plus you now have the new addition of embedding Text & Media from the original tweet from Twitter!

You can now add a filter to your videos in EX.CO Video. Add different filters to create different ambiances for the style of video that you're aiming for.

All you need to do is upload a video from Getty Videos, and edit the video. In the top left corner you will see a "Filter" button.

With the Rich Text feature, you can:

• Create titles within the slides,
• Highlight specific words,
• Create complex texts

You can also save any texts you like in the "custom present", which you can return to whenever you need your favorite style.

You also have an option to upload your own font to EX.CO Video.

• Once the font is uploaded, you can choose who has access to it (only you or a channel).
• The font file will be saved for future use.
• Supported font format: ttf

Finally, you can customize the music for your video. While you have an option to keep the sound of your original video if you wish, you can also choose from hundreds of themes and styles to fit your video perfectly.

You can also upload your own sound to EX.CO Video

• Once the sound is uploaded, you can choose who has access to it (only you or a channel).
• The sound file will be saved for future use.
• Supported sound format: MP3
• The uploading time is according to the length of the MP3 file.
• There is no limitation to the size of the file. 

And finally set how long each scene will be. EX.CO automatically suggests a time frame, however, you can adjust this to how you see fit for your content. Just go to "customize appearance" and in the top right corner on the image you will see a clock icon. Click on it and adjust the time of the scene.

After populating your video's slides, hit the Preview Video button to discover how your video will appear to your audience.
